Mr Eyong .M.M, is presently the Director, Directorate of Entrepreneurial studies of the University. (DEPS).
An academic staff and a Lecturer I in the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, College of Natural and Applied Sciences.
I teach the following courses:
Microbial Enzymology
Microbial Physiology and Biochemistry
Microbial Ecology
Plant Pathogenic Microbiology
Soil Microbiology
General Microbiology.
My research area is focus mainly on Biological Control of plant diseases but has flare in other areas of biological sciences in which his research is ongoing including; Microbiological and Physio-chemical quality of food products, Environmental and Public health Microbiology, Antibacterial, Antifungal and Phytochemical analysis of plant parts.
I have also contributed to University Teaching and research for the past 12years and has saved in different university committees and boards.
I have supervised undergraduate research students from 2010 to date.
I have several research publications in reputable journals with many citations in google scholars, Member of American society for Microbiology.
My hobbies include writing, reading swimming, riding, travelling, and Lawn tennis.
Eyong Mbeng Martin is married to Mrs Eyong Sarah nee Unusiotame-Owolagba Emobonuvie and we have been blessed with four children.
