Dr. Felix Onoriode Ashakah is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Western Delta University, Oghara. He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He obtained a master’s degree in Economics, specializing in Business and Economic Forecasting, from Kingston University London. He also obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delta State University, Nigeria.

At Western Delta University, Dr. Felix Onoriode Ashakah leads a session in Economics with keen interest and teaches Development Economics, Econometrics, Financial Economics, International Economics and Macroeconomics.

Before joining Western Delta University in 2013, he worked as a Human Resources Officer at Industrial and General Insurance Company Plc., 2003-2006 and as an operation staff in Intercontinental Bank Plc., 2006-2011.

Dr. Felix Onoriode Ashakah is passionate about research. He has published several articles in national and international journals of repute.

Dr. Felix Onoriode Ashakah is a Fellow of the Center of Economic Policy and Development Research (CEPDeR), a Research Institute of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Dr. Felix Onoriode Ashakah is married to Suzan Ogude-Ashakah and they are blessed with three daughters; Michelle, Sharon, and Christabel.
