Resident Doctors Organize Health programme

Recently, Resident Doctors in Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara, Delta State visited Western Delta University for a medical outreach. The team highlighted the need for students to avoid drug abuse. Abusing drugs involve excessive taking of drugs for non-medical reasons. This situation can damage the health of the abuser. Students were also encouraged to engage in entrepreneurship. They have to come up with ideas that are capable of serving the needs of others, thus making money in return. Attendees were admonished to have mentors who will serve as their role models in life. That way, they can discern how to handle a situation that goes beyond their abilities, with the assistance of their mentors.
