A renowned Architect and town Planner is the Chancellor of Western Delta University. He is a national man. He was one of the people that championed the absolute need for derivation to be increased to 13%.

Biography

His Excellency, Obong Victor Attah (Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State) believes in mentoring the younger ones for the future of Nigeria. He is an author of many books. One of his dreams was to build an Airport in Akwa Ibom State and in recognition of his achievements; the Airport in the State was named after him “Obong Victor Attah Airport”.

He has practiced as an Architect in the Caribbean, New York City and Nigeria. He was elected Chairman of the Forum of the 36 Governors of Nigeria in 2003.
