Law Library

The College of Law Library was founded in tandem with the School of Law and began operations in 2017. The Law Library is a gateway to information. As an essential component of legal education, the Library collects and organizes information resources to support teaching, learning, and research activities of the College of Law at Western Delta University, Oghara.

Our library was created to address the legal information requirements of the WDU user community. It provides a supportive atmosphere for effective and productive individual and collaborative learning. The Library is well-lit, air-conditioned, and well-stocked with appropriate materials. It offers plenty of seating space, with wide reading desks and comfortable seats. The Library also has fast wireless internet network coverage and many wall power outlets, allowing users to utilize laptops and other devices to enhance their reading, studying, and research experiences.

Our Law Library also has an E-Library section which provides access to electronic legal information resources. The E-Library now contains important legal databases like Law Pavilion, LegalPedia, and Lexis Nexis. Electronic texts, journals, reports, reference sources, audio and video CDs, and other e-resources are also available. The E-library includes 25 workstations, all of which are connected to a dedicated 10 MBPS Internet Link. In addition to the 25 workstations, the E-library has ample space for users with laptops and other personal devices.
