The Governing Council

The Governing Council is the University’s top administrative body, and it appoints the University’s key administrators, deans, and academics. The Governing Council must approve decisions of critical relevance to the University’s long-term development.

This governing body is in charge of general supervision and oversight of the institution’s policies, finances, and assets, including its public relations. The Pro-Chancellor serves as the chair of the Governing Council, which answers to the Visitor.
